The project seeks to give voice to young Europeans from Bulgaria, Italy and Spain about European issues. The youngsters will have voice in the following topics: (1) migration and refugees; (2) political participation; (3) economic crisis; (4) anti-Europeanism; and (5) EU in the world.
"Giving Voice to Young People about European Union Issues” will develop a youth exchange. This exchange will be implemented in the context of a radio station and the youngsters will have the opportunity to be journalists during the exchange. The youngsters will create and generate different kind of radio programs (editorials, news, interviews, radio spots, magazines and opinion), so they can express and discuss about the topics above.
The radio approach will allow the youngsters to: (1) increase their sense of belonging to the European Union (European citizenship and European values); (2) empower them to be active civic-political agents in their communities; (3) increase their successfully integration into European society and the EU labor market; and (4) propose solutions to the problems that the European Union and youth face nowadays.
